Rooted in exploration and introspection, Lawler's practice navigates the intersection of identity, community, and space.

This body of work explores the response a queer person has to their environment in rural Ireland. Transcending the boundaries of mere documentation these images emerge as a meditation on the intricacies of belonging, identity and the eternal dance between the self and the collective. The mundane is rendered sublime and the familiar is imbued with a new sense of significance 

Constantly changing and ever confusing. A homage to Muine Bheag, Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow.
